I think they should add a webcam recording for normal recording, not just twitch broadcasting.

Use NVENC in OBS, shadowplay has no support for that - perf hit is basically identical

Not sure, would only take you 2 mins to test though.

Just ran a 15 minute recording session with the 335.23 drivers and 1.8.2.1 GE.
Working great!
In previous versions I kept getting a weird rubber band type lag every 2 minutes or so.
I'm no longer experiencing that bug. thumb.gif

I tested with BF4. Ran smooth and didn't see any difference with it running or off.

Are there any defacto render out settings that people use with various editors? I've been getting less-than stellar results...blockyness etc...when with my capture card, which is also records using H264, it looks absolutely fine.

Basically, it looks fine after I record it. I edit and render it, it still looks fine. Hits youtube, looks like taint...and it only happens with shadowplay videos. I could use any other H264 encoder (black magic, avermedia etc) and it works fine. Am I just rendering shadowplay videos wrong?

Nvidia keeps telling me "it looks fine"...which immediately tells me that they have very low standards.

Too high bitrate. If your source is close to lossless - and you are re-encoding - then only your re-encode settings matter, not how the video was originally captured. Your avermedia etc settings will just be using lower bitrate than you're re-encoding to, probably. Or a better encoder, but you're probably using the best already? What settings are you rendering with?
