5%, maybe 10 for 1080p60

In a majority of the games I had tried when I used Shadowplay @ 1440p I got at the most a 3 frame drop in my games I played at the time. (Metros, Batmans, Far Cry 3, Bioschocks etc) Haven't used Shadowplay since 331.65 so not sure if it has gotten worse as of recent.

The 40% drops WERE insane. Honestly 18% - that's plausible as double the hit from single card, it's expected for SLI to have significantly higher performance hit, i think we talked about that before - it was just broken with bug and losing over 1/3 fps before. Did we have significantly better results with first releases, before the bug?

I hit around 100FPS on ultra (with no MSAA) on 1440p biggrin.gif!

^this and it shouldn't be more - especially with OBS and whatnot not hitting that hard.

POS.
Single card for me hit less than 5% (AT MOST) - usually was around 1-3%

Disappointed by that thread.
7 series cars only?

If so, Nvidia are making a huge mistake by excluding 6 and 5 series cards.
AMD didn't do that with Mantle. Neither should nvidia.

They have a lot of catching up to do - and they'll have to face a huge backlash if they decide not to implement these "changes" with 6 or 5 series cards.

I >SERIOUSLY DOUBT< that it's limited to 700 series. A few users have made that comment, because nvidia used 700 on the slides - but i'm pretty sure (95%) that 600 is exactly the same for letting you install, gains etc.

It does not make any sense for it not to be, given that you can literally flash a 680 to 770 name and install the driver if you wanted to.

Unless you tried to install the driver and it specifically told you that 600 series was not supported.. go install it.

I've seen both 500s and 600s users reporting gains in the 337.50 thread.

Newest video recording I did. Voice recording is still a work in progress, done outside of Shadowplay using Audacity.
Stalker is messy like that.
This is recorded at 40Mb/s then rendered at 20Mb/s. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Last 30 seconds are kinda fun tongue.gif
Overall it seemed to be a much smoother recording episode than when using FRAPS. I don't see any frame drops at all with Shadowplay while I do get some with FRAPS. thumb.gif Stalker is a harder game to record as it is heavily single core dependent.

With the launch of GeForce Experience 2.0 we’re extending ShadowPlay’s capture capabilities to the desktop, enabling footage to be recorded or streamed from windowed games, borderless windowed games, and from the desktop itself. In addition to ensuring seamless capture from champion select to in-game action in League of Legends, desktop capture also enables the recording of OpenGL, Java, and web-based games in windowed mode, borderless windowed mode, and borderless fullscreen mode. In other words, you can now capture gameplay from Minecraft, OpenGL Unity games, older games, popular indie games, and anything else you can think of. You can even create video tutorials in Windows.

Think we may have overlooked this. That's pretty neat. Looks like you can capture pretty much anything now.

Yup - I mentioned the windows thing - just a few posts back smile.gif
I noticed something else though:
"Also included is notebook support for ShadowPlay"

That's absolutely huge - I'll ask my cousin to test.
He has SLI 750Ms in his laptop.

This is great news. I was just trying to record in a window last night tongue.gif
