That shouldn't happen at this price point. Also i could get a hd7990 for roughly the same price and it would have almost 50% more performance.
Why would you even consider doing that? First and foremost, the 7990 is a dual GPU card, this means that you will most likely run into problems you never had with your 780 in the first place, even with the new drivers. You also won't get close to a 50% performance increase due to multi-GPU performance optimizations on different games, and if you even consider playing DX9 games, think again.
More importantly though, saying that Shadowplay was an advertised feature for the 780 is just plain stupid. It was NEVER a promised feature for the 7-series Geforce cards, never. It has always been a free addition to the Geforce Experience software, they don't owe you anything whatsoever. Shadowplay is going to be released sometime, if not before summer is over, then sometime in the coming months. It will be released, sooner or later. Stop trying to be all dramatic because you think Nvidia didn't live up to their promise. They never promised you anything. If you bought the graphics card assuming Shadowplay would be a part of it, then its YOUR fault for buying something before the feature that never was a part of the deal was available.
