Total let down by Nvidia. I was never mad at Nvidia before but the Shadowplay and Shield delay made me furious.

Shadowplay seems as great, if not even better than Dxtroy, MSI Afterburner, Fraps, Mirillis Action!

And it will be free. Can not wait!

I'm hoping it will be better then Dxtory, considering it's done on the GPU, and like you said it's free biggrin.gif, problem is we have to wait for whatever is going on with them to be worked out. Hoping soon because I really wanted to record some Shogun 2 battles lol.

Is this feature only for the GTX 780 and TITAN or will it also be available for the whole GTX 700 Series? I have an EVGA GTX 770, first nVidia card, and I'm really happy with it!

Any Kepler GPU (GTX 6xx / 7xx) has the necessary hardware for Shadowplay.
Quote:
ShadowPlay leverages the H.264 encoder built in Kepler GPUs (GeForce GTX 600 series or higher) to record high quality, 1080p gameplay footage on the fly. Because it utilizes a dedicated hardware encoder, ShadowPlay lets you capture gameplay footage fulltime without tanking your framerate.

Sux really. How can you advertise a software and on its release date you pull it off and say '' Shadowplay was not really ready to launch on schedule day ''

Anyway. Nothing to do but wait.

Sounds like we have to wait for a product (shield..) that some of us may not buy (I know I'm not) before we get this feature working. All I can hope for is that it works nicely when they finally release the darn thing.

The only reason I would ever get a SHIELD is if it is a gift. Not excited about it one bit.

The thing is Geforce Experience 1.6 has some features for Shield as well as Shadowplay. So we will have to wait for the Shield's release to get our hands on to 1.6

If all fails, I am sure NSA can hook us up with a video capture software biggrin.gif

This article is silly. Coming from a source other than the computer games, trading card game, novels, RPG, or manga, its content is not part of official Warcraft lore, but nevertheless has become part of the culture belonging to the World of Warcraft community.

Very Soon

Another common term implemented by Blizzard often misleading players into excitement for future content. "Very Soon" is guaranteed to arrive between now and the end of time with a higher chance of arriving on the "now" half of the time table. Although this means closer to now than "soon" there is no guarantee that you will live long enough to see the content finally release.

Soon-ish

On Febuary 19, 2010, Nethaera used the term "Soon-ish" with regards to the next release of information pertaining to Cataclysm. Current speculation believes "Soon-ish" to exist between "Soon" and "End of Time."

I sure hope they actually do release it more in the "very soon" range of eternity. It would be insanely useful for some small showcase movies for my minecraft project.
