Yes it must be.

Guys I did a quick test. All videos captured with Shadowplay.

First video uploaded to youtube as the original file. Nothing additionally compressed (besides youtube's own compression)

Second video compressed with .mp4 compression under Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11

Third video is compressed with .wmw extension under Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11

They all look 99% identical to me. What do you guys think?

I've tried playing FIFA 14 with this enabled, which in my experience was one of the hardest games to record with fraps due to the high CPU usage.

Runs flawlessly like nothing was recording. Uploading the test footage now.

One thing I do notice is that it will record any OSD stuff you have up. I was still using fraps to check my FPS and it would show it in the video.

Yeah I have to disable OSD stuff as well for the footage.

Anyhow let us know the link of the Fifa14 footage.

I am very happy with shadowplay but not happy how youtube encodes shadowplay files.

Again the below footage is directly uploaded to youtube without any editing, but the quality is lacking a lot

Youtube is breaking my balls (Click to show)

Shadowplay capture

Same file directly uploaded to youtube gives me this image quality at 1080p

It seems Shadowplay only records the resolution you are gaming at and the FPS you are gaming at. Of course above 60fps and 1080p is not possible so far.

Just to confirm I game at 1440p and my videos are downscaled and capped to 1080P/60FPS. Anyway, I haven't ran into any issues with the two games I tried. This is great. biggrin.gif

You're right about Youtube. I find that the videos are alot crisper on my PC than they are on Youtube mad.gif

Good videos.

But honestly yours look better than mine anyway. You just upload videos to youtube regularly right? No additional stuff?

Right, I just take the raw file and upload, no editing or compressing. I figure I don't need to since my upload is fast enough.

I think I'm going to cry. It says I don't meet the system requirements.
