"Budget" IPS with a matte screen and matte bezel ? - Page 2

I've been very happy with my U2312HM - it has a matte screen coating and a matte black plastic bezel. It's around £155 on Amazon right now, but I'd imagine you could find it for under £150 if you're prepared to wait a bit for a sale. I've been impressed with the picture quality, though I haven't seen any other IPS monitors to compare it to.

Ended up ordering a LG IPS234V, seemed like the best available given the options and the price. Hopefully it wont suck.worriedsmiley.gif

So, LG 24EA53VQ arrived.

Impressed over my ASUS 1920x1080 LED panel so far. Colour is much more how I wanted (this IPS isn't 'washed out' like my prior monitor), and the viewing angle thing is excellent for watching movies whilst I'm in bed, as my bed is lower than my computer table. My old monitor used to add shadows to everything if viewed from a not-level angle.

I watch mine from bed as well.

I used to have to "aim" my other monitor before I went to bed, this one I don't have to.
