[Anandtech]The 2013 MacBook Air Review (13-inch) - Page 7

If by the "Apple Sales page," you meanwww.apple.com -> Store -> Mac -> MacBook Air, scroll down below the four base models and there's a "MacBook Air at a Glance" section, which is in fact the "Overview" part of tabbed interface. Right next to "Overview" is "Tech Specs." Clicking on that shows a table that helpfully (?) lists Display separately from Graphics and Video Support, but Display does include the supported and native resolutions for each model.

Maybe I missed it earlier, but I feel like that wasn't there when I wrote my original post. I scoured the product page pretty thoroughly and couldn't find any mention of it.

It's a new product, so the product page is probably being updated pretty regularly.

And 1366x768 or 1440 by 900 is really not that impressive.

Consider those are TN panels and ultrabooks in that price range already have 900p/1080p IPS panels it is a disappointment. But for Apple the priority for MBA is battery life so screen resolution gets the shaft.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that it was impressive (and didn't think I did).
