Help choosing a 780

Thread Starter
Hi, I'm looking to get a gtx 780 soon and need help with finding the best brand to buy.

I will be water cooling this card so suggestions for the water block and brand are welcome. Ideally i want to have something with a good air cooler, even though i will be water cooling. But this is because in the future I will re-install it and use this card in another build when i upgrade. I am planning to spend around $670~ on this card.

The parts that i will be using with this card is a 4770k and most likely an asrock z87 oc formula (still deciding on the motherboard : P) with corsair dominator platinum. I also have a corsair 760i PSU and am wondering if i decide to sli this card will it have enough power (that is with a moderate CPU overclock and GPU overclock)

Asking this kind of questions opens the door to a dozen different opinions that lead no where.
"Best brand" is a very subjective concept. I have bought graphics cards from several manufactures such as ASUS, Gigabyte, XFX, Colorful, Powercolor, Sapphire and PNY and I liked them all.

We can talk about costumer support but, then again, I had great support, regardless of the brand. That's my experience, anyways.

As far as GTX 780 warranty is concerned, EVGA has good deals, PNY gives lifetime warranty in USA and 3 years in Europe, MSI gives 3 years. These were the ones that stand out for me but, I could have missed something interesting from another brand.

There are a few bundles but, from the ones I know, I think the best is from ZOTAC with 3 Splinter Cell games.

The reviews show all the aftermarket coolers were very good at their job.

In the end of the day, your choice will be a question of personal taste, dude.

As for the blocks, I use EK and their cooling performance is rock solid. The TITAN blocks fit.
