Do not overuse the Furmark for long periods, this is just a suggestion.
The first you have to do is to download Furmark 1.11.0.
After installing it, run a 400 x 300 window ( i found out that this size and anti-aliasing settings are closest to real max stress gpu have to deal in gaming) with 8MSAA and check what your GPU can boost in stock clocks. Use the GPU-Z to monitor the realtime max boost clocks (in my case, boost 2.0 is 1215-1137=78Mhz (6*13Mhz)).
Now with the help of MSI Afterburner (latest beta suggested) or EVGA precision tools you can overclock the core or the memories.
In order to find your GPU's max OC potentials, set fan speed to its max, and perform 5' (5 minutes) furmark burn-in tests for each step of core or memory overclock you have applied.
E.g.
Set core Voltage to +12mV (max voltage our GPU can get).
Set power limit to 110-115% (so the temp limit will be over 85-90°C).
Set Core clock +13Mhz and memory clock leave it at its stock clocks.
Perform this +13Mhz core clock steps until GPU can not pass a 5' furmark burn-in test. Set core clock back to the last stable +13Mhz step you have applied.
Overclock the memory clock with steps of +50Mhz.
Do this for as long times needed until furmark burn-in test can not be completed.
Set Memory clocks to latest furmark passed clocks.
Now run a unigine valley or heaven benchmark for two times in benchmark mode, repeat the second benchmark loop immediately after first finishes.
IF your GPU can finish these unigine bench tests, congratulations you have found the MAX stable oc of your gpu! If not set core clock frequency one step back (-13Mhz) and try again. Repeat this step until you can pass the benchmark twice without problem.
You may now set fan speed accordingly if you like.

For comparison here are my daily clocks which used for these bench results (clocks 100% stable):
CPU i5 3570k is running @ 4.4Ghz
RAMs @ 2400Mhz
In some results, monitor analysis is 1680*1050. Divide scores with 1.175 for 1080p matched performance).

The GTX 760s are available on Newegg and TigerDirect with stock clocked models at $249 USD and OC models around $259-269 USD! If you discover any other online retailers carrying the 760 and PM/reply to thread and I'll add them ASAP!

With the GTX 760 now available, I felt like I should go ahead and give the new GPU it's own thread. Feel free to share info on the new GPU and share links (hardware, official releases, pics, benchmarks, whatever you want). I'll be updating this post regularly as I come across benchmarks and official releases myself, but if you catch something that hasn't gotten onto this thread feel free to share and I'll update the thread ASAP!
Once the cards to ship feel free to start some benching, overclocking, putting them in SLI (anyone else thinking about a little 760 4GB SLI action?), etc., and sharing your experiences so all of us can get an idea of what these new cards are capable of!

It appears that at the hardware level, the GTX 760 is 28% better than the GTX 660, with a TDP increase of 21.4% (from 140W to 170W). The GTX 760 is 16% better than the GTX 660Ti, with a TDP increase of 13.3%.
NOTES FOR CURRENT NVIDIA USERS: If you already own a single GTX 660/660Ti or better (specifically the 660Ti, which has 14.3% more CUDA cores than the 760) it looks like it'll be difficult to justify the upgrade, unless you can sell your previous card to assist you with your purchase. A 16-28% performance increase is something you could likely gain with a decent OC... Just my 2c. Of course if money is no issue, go for it!
I'd say that if you're coming from a GTX 650, 570, 480, or similarly performing NVIDIA products this GPU is worth an upgrade.
NOTES FOR CURRENT AMD USERS: If you already own a single 7950, 7950 Boost, or 7970 GHz Edition, there's not much reason to grab a GTX 760, UNLESS you are looking into adding additional GPUs in the future. Whereas NVIDIA is superior to AMD in this area. Latency, microstuttering, etc. are not issues with SLI.
I'd say if you're coming from an HD 7850 or similarly performing set up, or just want the comfort of knowing that a future multi-GPU set up will actually work, this GPU (or two of them
) is worth the investment.
