Honestly, yea. I can't say I was really wowed at all.
The ENTIRE first segment about "Seamless Reality" featured things that were in Cryengine 2... in 2007. The trees bend in the wind depending on what the wind is set to; "We let the game engine do it"... Yea. Rollup bar -> Env. Settings -> Wind. Done.
"You might see an explosion go off, and trees will shake...". Yea. Crysis 1.
2nd Segment about particles n' Stuff:
"Everything from the smallest spark coliding to the biggest chunks". MEANWHILE on screen, massive amounts of paper are clipping through the ground.... so it's only some particles. Meanwhile in CE3, ALL particles can collide (if set to do so).
Levelution... yea. Pre-scripted environmental stuff that's triggered by players. Congrats. Every single thing he mentioned WILL be pre-scripted. The big building will fall in the same way; the dam will break in the same way. It's pre-scripted - we've had this for years.
This part actually looked pretty good. I'm not sure on the wave tech about the same wave in the same place, but it seems like pretty good tech. This is where FB seems to really standout. The water actually looks really good. All of the tech here is either new, or new enough (i.e. this year).
