bought? is it possible they saw something and fixed it? also are you talking about shape because i rather enjoy the shape. you would be surprised how nice some feel and how many people dislike say the classic logitech mx518 or DA shapes

Their products are the complete anti-thesis to Corsair's style. The Raptor gear very much looks like cheapo Razer stuff from the early 2000's or late 90s; very cheese.
well I order both I wonder which will fit my bighands better I have feeling ill be sending back m40 though the ergonomics look painful even though I never tried one yet
Feels very similar to the DA except with the wide mouse wheel there's less room for the fingers on the buttons so there can be some issues with clicking at least for the right mouse button. The right side doesn't curve inwards very far if at all so the force required for gripping and picking up the mouse is higher than the IE 3.0 and more like the DA although that could also be attributed to the height of the mouse.
The side buttons are so high up on the mouse it doesn't feel like they are easy to click while doing a lot of movement.
As you can see there is a weight in the mouse. Overall with the wide mouse wheel and the placement of the side buttons they should have just gone with a mold more similar to A4Tech's mold.

I did have some connectivity issues after I put it back together which I later sorted in a weird way but I'm going to chalk that up to a fluke for now. Before I opened it I ran Enotus but I couldn't get anything past 2.68 m/s.
Unless the DPI steps are something different than what other sites list it as for this mouse ( because Corsair doesn't actually list the steps ) I'd say it's not very impressive. 800 DPI gave the best results and that was on a Goliath speed, it had similar results on two other black mouse pads which were the SS QcK+ and Artisan Hien soft. It had a lower LOD and worse tracking on both a Shiden xsoft white and the white table itself.
Seems like they just threw in the sensor and called it good in which case it's a bit overpriced, but that's just my opinion.

I'm going to get a scale at some point to give a better answer but right now comparing it to the weight of an IE 3.0 it's about the same with the weight removed. There is a lot of plastic on this mouse that just seems pointless, like the base of the mouse that is over sized or just too tall.
I almost want to go back to using the IE 3.0 simply because this thing feels more like a DA ( no offense to DA users ) but my 3.0 has been having this weird extra click or double click issue.

If my eyes don't fool me, I spy a 8 bit Sonix controller and a switch brand certain gamers may and may not like. Clip is 3rd party.
The problem I have with recommending stuff is that tracking quality/performance is situational to many variables, though specifically were going to revolve around controller model and coding capabilities; aka FW.
Frankly, I'm not impressed with the hardware of many mice on the market, though, there are those that make sense at street price. Example would be the old G400. Twas a good value for all sorts of gamers.
There's a perpective I just have trouble explaining, but I hope I somewhat make sense?
been using it on 800 dpi for about 3 days now track pretty good but to obtain 4 ms you need certain mouse pads. Im not sure if corsair just tossed in the senor and didnt mess with it. If they did then that okay I guess
It feels pretty good actually, really springy and not very hard or easy to press.
Side buttons aren't very good at all for me, but I only use them for chrome browsing anyway. And the cord is actually pretty short.
EDIT: Second thought, I'm really not sure actually about M1 and M2 clicks. At first I thought they were springy, but often it feels like it takes a moment for the spring to actuate and return the switch to starting position. Sometimes its hard to press, sometimes easy. Feels really weird.
EDIT2: switches really don't feel great after long use. There's alot of inconsistency in the way the spring actuates; whether it springs up immediately or the force of the spring action which also varies. There may be something wrong with mine. Or there's a very specific area on M1/M2 that needs to be depressed for optimal clicking usage. I think it has to be depressed about 2 mm away from the tip of the button, and closer towards the scroll wheel. Whatever the case, I don't agree with the way they've designed the mouse clicks.
