AMD E-450 APU

I have a laptop with a AMD E-450 APU running at 1.65ghz and has turbo boost support for 2.4ghz, but ive never actually seen it run at 2.4ghz even doing some test.

I was wondering if i could overclock it to run at something like 2 - 2.1ghz, and how would I do it, ive heard of programs that do it for you and I cant edit it in the bios because it is locked.

Also at the moment it doesn't get hot at all, and its like 2 years old.

Sorry if this is the wrong section, im new here.

I wasn't aware the E series had turbo boost, at least my E350 doesn't. IIRC it's a turbo on the GPU and not the CPU.

Apparently you can use 'brazostweaker' to adjust a few of the parameters

yeah when I bought it, it said it had turbo boost technology, and when i go to the "canyourunit" site to see what games i can run, it keeps saying my cpu is rated at 2.4ghz?

ive read about that tweaker and apparently it doesnt work or something, but ill give it a try.

EDIT: it doesnt work its fake

i found out you can flash the bios but the chances of it working for a laptop are tiny
