Star Citizen the number one crowd funded project of all time

Thread Starter
I am here just to spread the word about the Star citizen game which now officially passed the $10,635,377 pledged . More info please visit.

http://www.robertsspaceindustries.com/

this video is made in-engine ( CryEngine 3 ), it used actual game models. You’re looking at the 300i mesh you will see in Star Citizen and not some high-poly fake created for cutscenes and good PR. What you’re seeing is what you’ll play.

It wont live up to expectations also id rather donate to cancer or other funds.
You said, it won't live up?

Gong healthy at 15 million to be broken today or tomorrow.

And why would it not live up, or fail to the expectations? Just by the fact you are buying a game in advance? You fear beeing scammed?

Surely you haven't played Wing Commander back in the days. That would explain it all!

Maybe but maybe not! Who knows. But it looks already good and the ideas are pretty good. The most important part about this is finally we´ll see games like Wing Commander and Freelancer again! No other company has faith in it. I dont even know if this would be possible without crowd funding.

Considering its Chris Roberts, it'll live up to its expectations. Maybe not fully, but it'll be pretty damn close.
