Is Enduro avaliable for the Desktop ?

Sorry if its a dumb question.

One thing i was thinking was given that AMD APU's don't have the best CPU performance but have good enough GPU performance to perform 95% of day to day tasks really well would it be possible to run Enduro ?

So if you have a 7870 for example that could run in games (using much more electricity and heat output) but on idle or typical desktop use the APU kicks in and your doing most stuff at 25w-45w envelope (1080p / 4k video feeds, web browsing image threads etc..) at the same time Zero-Core comes into play on the 7xxx series and stops the fan and drops the idle power of the main GPU to just a few watts ?

this would work well on a HTPC type environment where typically you want your PSU fan to auto shut off on low load, the GPU fan off on low load and the case fans to spin down a lot so you have a viable movie / web / music machine thats capable of proper game performance when needs be.

or maybe thats dumb as i said redface.gif

Not dumb at all sir. But i would just get a Regular CPU and have the 7870 go into 2D mode and idle down for movies.
