How is saying that plenty of people are hitting 4.6 and higher a bias or any form of statistics? There ARE plenty hitting 4.6, occasionally higher. In no way did i say "you'll hit 4.6 for sure, lower is rare" by any means, so calling my statement any kind of "bias" is outright wrong.
That was in no way a "statistic", it was a statement. A true one at that.
As with Ivy Bridge, heat is currently the limiting factor for most overclocks as most chips require higher voltages than the IHS implementation can handle. Which, as with Ivy, is a very easily remedied DIY. If you chose not to pursue a delid, then you should not expect similar overlcocks of those of us who are.
