Sony showed that they weren’t only working on their watch but on a smartphone, too. Well, this device is perhaps too big to be called a smartphone but this Sony Xperia Z has some great specs worth reviewing. It’s the biggest smartphone that came from the company and we are going to put it into the phablet series.

Hardware and Camera

This device comes equipped with Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth. Under the hood, there is a 16GB storage capacity and 2GB of RAM. If you feel that you need bigger storage, Sony has thought of that and included a MicroSD slot for upgrading the memory. It includes the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It comes equipped with a 3,000 mAh battery that comes as a great fit for this nice packed phablet.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra comes equipped with an 8-mpix camera with improved shots under low-light condition. The performance didn’t give some impressive snapshots on daylight but like it was said, it has been improved while taking low-light shots.

Performance

You can expect great things from this power beast. The Snapdragon quad-core processor is clocked at 2.2GHz. On some tests made in power efficiency labs it performed strong and gave great results under heavy circumstances. All the reports said that the prototype was tested and they are not final.

No lie, I wanted this phone but a non-user accessible battery killed it for me. I'm looking at either the Note 2 or I guess Note 3 depending on when I feel like getting a new phone.

And that's even if, really.
