Ivy Bridge-E to use x79? - Page 2

I actually have a p9x79 le version, but its been having problems. I think I was going to ditch the h100i and go h80i for my new haf xb case. I really just want a mobo that will be ready to go when ivy-e is released. Dont want to get one now and have it be obsolete once ivy is dropped. Thanks for the heads up on the ram issue. Does the sabertooth have issues with dominator?

Not sure about the sabertooth. I don't know about the LE but the workstatio is AMAZING and the pro is pretty good. sabertooth won't support higher speeds though not past 1866 it looks like.
I have my rive at 2475 with some samsung sticks that are factory only supposed to go to 1600 though.

Yea my dominators are only 1600. I just looked up the compatibility issues with corsair ram and it looks like platinums are ok with the extreme. Im just trying to decide if I need all those extras in a mobo. I only use 1 gpu, I don't overclock, and if I do it will be very little. Its just mainly gaming. Just trying to justify the extra 100 bills for sabertooth vs extreme.
