Did I get a good deal.?

I got a laptop today from Best Buy, its an ASUS G-47: i5, gtx 660m, 8gb ram, and 750gb hd. I got it for 660.00 with tax and all. Was it a decent buy for a gaming laptop?
I'd say yes. Newegg's lowest price all of those features is $693,

Pretty good deal. Only issue is the i5 is a dual core in laptops and will not bode well for Planetside 2 or Bf3.

It is not bad, it just won't be the "best" for gaming. The laptop i5s have 2 cores and 4 threads so it is kind of like an under powered desktop i3. It will still play games, it just won't max them out or anything.

I tried BF3 on that machine and was limited to about 40 FPS regardless of the OC on my GPU. I'm not sure how well it will handle BF4.

You cant just assume the laptop is the same, as far as ASUS and bestbuy, ASUS often sells gimped ROG models (lower shaders, lower res screen, etc) to bestbuy as a bestbuy exclusive.
