Did also some tests:

Cinebench:
860k stock OpenGL: 63.91FPS , CPU:300cb
860k @4,4 OpenGL: 70.07FPS, CPU: 343cb

If someone has the 760k scores of cinebench i would like to see them.

Did also 3Dmark with 280x

Firestrike /with the same gpu

760k @4.5 i got firestrike score of 6273
860k @stock 6035
860k @4.3 5541

If someone is able to give me idea why the oc score is lower than stock frequencies?

760K 4.8GHz
Cinebench CPU: 358
Firestrike with 290x: 8041, Physics: 5308

Your OC is lower due to throttling or instability.

Checking back into this thread.... How are you guys finding the 760k is holding up against the g3258? I know the review sites have the 3258 eating the 750k for lunch, but they are not typically testing the 760k and are not OC'ing NB. Has anyone done a real comparison?

Once 4 cores or AVX can be utilized, the Pentium loses. It's probably great for older games that aren't so optimized though. I personally went with an i3 for my Haswell machine and I don't regret it.

Example: this is the highest Firestrike score I could find for the Pentium (with same GPU). My Athlon isn't even max clocked, as I can often bench over 4.8-4.9GHz.

What's interesting now is that you can buy OEM (no heatsink) 860Ks now for $80.

I reckon I need to re-run with updated drivers...

3dmark really doesn't translate game to performance. I don't recall my athlons being near as smooth and quick as my g3258 in games. There is also no upgrade patch at all on fm2. They're really just mediocre offerings that lost all hype and following with the pentium released.

Pentium G3528 is going to demolish the Athlon in games that only need two fast cores. So MMOs, older DX9 games, and a small select number of the recent AAA offerings.

Run some of these benches then. I doubt Pentium can beat any:

None of those equate to real world usage? I don't play benchmarks nd neither do most people buying an Athlon. For a low budget gaming rig it makes more sense to have an upgrade path to an i5 or i7, instead of.. Well nothing.

Look pentium is to weak for new games....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6eVPwu1vOM

this is not good performance

So if you get FX 6300 + 2x4Gb 2000+ mhz = very cheap build ... then you can build or skylake or zen with AVX 3.2 and 14nm.... but if you buy pentium now you will also spend more money because of expensive MB and some game wont be playable.
