Go a few pages back and look at the Toms hardware review. The review speaks for itself, the 750K is equal to, sometimes better than not only the 965 but also the 4300. Everyone touts L3 cache but the scores don't lie, and the only true disappointment is that Toms short changed the 750K by 200MHz on both CPU and NB for the OC, while they tapped out all the other chips.
With these chips, L3 cache is not needed so that is a non issue either. My only suggestion is to wait until the A88X boards get released, to save some money.
Found the post and another that I reckon I must've missed when skimming through. Thanks and, yes, w/o the L3 cache I would think that performance would suffer. Especially when the Phenom II with 6MB of cache was marketed to have such a great boost over the original AM2+ Phenom versions w/o the L3. But those perf. numbers are awesome, more than I expected. I reckon that I know now why so many people have snapped this little value up!
