And after the test completed successfully, without any warning or shutdown due to temperatures.

So 4.5 is stable at 1.5v. im guessing its either A) my terrible PSU or B) my 4+1 power phase. if i cant get any higher then so be it, at least ive shown people in this thread that you can do a decent OC on a mid range board. Also speedfan Temp3 is my CPU, and it agrees with easytune6 for temperature

EDIT: 250 Posts now on this thread! Woot!

What's your PSU? Is your system currently in a case or open air? Also the package temperature is safe up to 120C.

My case is closed and is this http://www.scan.co.uk/products/cit-knight-black-interior-midi-atx-with-500w-12cm-black-psu
And the PSU came with the case ( yes i am amazed it keeps this stable OC for how bad it is) they also sell it seperately on the site and the PSU is this http://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-cit-black-edition-cit5000ub-120mm-quiet-fan-atx-v22-psu
I am thinking of getting a new PSu in October when my Birthday arrives. Im thinking an XFX or corsair 80+ Bronze 500w. i just wanted a PC Fast tjhat could play games and also do my homework for the price of an xbox One. i have also 3 of these fans 2 intake and one exhaust

Someone please run the AMD overdrive bench at your best overclock so I can compare the integer, floating point, cache, and memory performance to my old fx-4100. My theory is that the sluggish L3 cache actually hurts my fx.

That's pretty amazing improvement, and with a 500MHz handicap.

Newegg.ca currently has $25 off $250 for "New Customers", so if anyone here lives in Canada and is interested in getting some PC parts (perhaps featuring including the 760k like myself) now might be a good time.

Any of you Athlon II x2 340/270k owners play Battlefield 3? I am interested in seeing how it performs in game. My Phenom II with 2 cores at 4.2Ghz struggle to keep a good fps (drops under 30 quite frequently) and I want to know if the Athlon II x2 370k could be something for my friend who is on a very tight budget.

Thread Starter
Do your friend a favor and go for the x4 k version. You need a minimum of 4 cores to play BF3 efficiently. Besides, the 4 core version is 85 and 89 bucks depending on the 750 or 760 through the egg.
