Sorry to restart a dead subject as my first post. I have an E8400 with some cheap Chinese cooler (I live in Thailand). It's on an ASUS p5QPL-AM and it's OCed to 3.9 GHz. The reason I stopped there was because of heat issues (and Kingston value RAM). I'm sure I could go higher, but the motherboard just doesn't like it I think. I tried with an ASrock board and couldn't get it past 3.1 GHz for some reason. It wouldn't POST over 345 w/multiplier 9.
Anyway, nice forum here. I've been coming here for months (possibly years) and finally decided to join. smile.gif Cheers!
