Best cooler for my bitfenix prodigy with i5-3570k and Asus P8Z77-I Motherboard?

Hi guys, as the title suggests I'm having trouble finding a good enough cooler for my new set up that fits and cools enough, I wouldn't mind having a big fan in the front of the case to keep the fan noise down and i've got a bluray drive installed so no corsair h100 thumb.gif so that leaves me with a heatsink of some kind really rather than corsair water cooling

Budget wise around 20-40, No more than 60 pounds(needs to really wow me to spend that).. I don't want to be spending too much on a lump of metal at the end of the day biggrin.gif

I should mention that i'm going to overclock the i5-3570k to around 4.5ghz.. maybe 4.7 if I'm lucky with it

and i should also mention that the asus mobo has a board that sticks up on one side that may mean its not compatible with some heatsinks? not too sure if it does actually get in the way or not on most

Cheers in advance!

What motherboard do you have? Some have CPU much closer to PCI slot than others.

Thats a definite possible! I woulden't mind keeping my 140mm fan on the back of the case though, not sure if it would fit with that one, I was looking at a Xigmatek Thor's Hammer but i'm not sure if it will fit or not, i used to have one and it was amazingly good value for money, its now 16 quid new on ebay! anyone know if that fits?

Maybe a H80/H60 would fit?

But price/noise wise it's hard to beat that Macho, they stopped selling them here in Australia unfortunately as it keeps up with the bigger/better dual towers for the most part but costs so much less.

Take a look at the Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe thread. You can fit most coolers on it in the Prodigy case.
