how hard you running the pump/s? just enough to not be audible?

over or under pumping will cause the blocks to loose efficiency, but it could also just be the radiators not quite getting enough airflow for the whole 600W+ of the system, fan control based on the water temp is ideal, pump control based on block temps is also very good if you can set that up.

though 80-90C for intel chips is usually normal anyway so I don't think it would make much of a difference to its life...

I'll probably be making my own fan and pump controllers when I eventually get to watercooling, down here in AUS its not incredibly easy to get good controllers that can handle 30W or more with single thermal sensors...

I tried running the pumps on 50% and upwards (5% steps) when stressing and the difference is really minimal. Fans are running @ 1350 RPM at normal use and the full 1850 RPM when playing around, the Heatmaster is suprisingly easy to setup.

Should get my inline sensor next week, which will be hooked up to the Heatmaster, making the little PCB taking total control smile.gif

ok yea, its probably just at that point where the block cant suck the heat any quicker then its being made, that's pretty much when you would want two sets of hosing coming through a larger block if you wanted to OC further. wheee.gif
