Most cost effective way to game at 7680x1440?

So I have three Qnix QX2710 monitors and I'm currently running a single 680 at 2560x1440. What would the most cost effective upgrade be to be able to run high/ultra settings on the majority of games? I was thinking either 3/4-way SLI 680, Quad-SLI 690, Tri/Quad-fire 7970, Quad-fire 7990, 3-way SLI Titan, or 3/4-way SLI 780. Money isn't really an issue, but the cheaper the better.

There are diminishing returns after the second video card; depending on the game you may not be able play with ultra settings though high should be doable. The only suggestion I have is avoiding AMD for CFX since multi-GPU AMD setups have stuttering and frame pacing problems which have yet to be fixed.

The TITAN isn't really much faster than the GTX 780 though it has much higher compute power which you probably don't care about.

If you already have a GTX 680 then 2-3 way SLi would probably be the most cost efficient solution.
