The 8350 is a much improved CPU over the initial Bulldozer line. If you don't want to buy a new mobo and CPU for Intel, the 8350 is a great alternative. Or you can wait for Steamroller architecture to arrive.

But overall, the 8120 is the bottleneck. They are not the best performing processors, with comparable performance to a 2500k (which is still a great chip, but both are a bit dated to be used with SLI 680's).

so shell out 179 for 8350? or sell the 8120 + m5a99fx pro Motherboard and go inte?. which one would be better for my 680 2gb sli setup?
im very dissapointed with my setup so any advice would be awesome!thumb.gif

so i ended up getting the new haswell i5 4670k. SLI BLOWS!!! im getting 11 to 20 fps in crysis 3 with two cards on and it runs smoothly with one card on. i dont know what to do anymore this is pissing me off!
