Just grab a 7950/70 Ghz or not is all the same my card is not a GHz Edition and does not have boost either stock is 925/1375 and it does 1200/1750 24/7 very easy (1.23v)

oc the 7950 to 1100/1575 (easy with just AB) and you've got a 7970 GHz.

I got one more question that popped up... my motherboard has two pcie 2 x16 slots.... but all the cards say pcie3 :/

Will they work anyway?

you will be fine running at 2.0 x16 speeds, even a 7970 will not fully saturate a full 16 lanes of pci-e 2.0.
