evga precision frame rate target

so...my frame rate target is greyed out?

i can't click on it at all? any ideas?



i can't tick the enable box

Do you have Riva Tuner Statistics program as well?

 

You can try limiting there.

This is the latest version.

 

It should have installed with your Evga Precision installation but I believe in the last build they made it a seperate installation. Not sure.

yup that appears to be working, any downside to limiting fps? (im limiting it at 75fps, the refresh rate of my monitor to stop temps going to high)

I never saw or had any downsides

 

I used to own a 60fps monitor and capped my fps to 59

 

Now I have a 120fps monitor and cap my fps to 119

 

I disable VSYNC as well and I have very very very minimal tearing and pretty much no lag caused by vsync.

 

I really like frame limiting myself.

 

This simple tool should come up as an option on Nvidia or AMD drivers.
