[KSHB] Apple giving refunds to millions of customers after class-action lawsuit - Page 15

Heh, I've never made an in app purchase on an iphone or Android so I am not really aware of the process.

Though I can say that my kids have had my phone a lot and have never purchased anything...well, save for what I mention earlier in the thread when my kid upgraded my dataplan from the AT&T app, but I took that up with AT&T and didn't fault Apple or the IOS for it

Was this prior to iOS 4.3? 4.3 is where Apple patched the whole fiasco up to require a login for each and every purchase, however yes, your situation had more to do with AT&T as it wasn't really an app purchase.

i would fault at&t. being able to update your plans like that so easily is convenient in some instances (and definitely for at&t) but a lot more prone to problems or issues if you ask me. it should be locked to the billpayer
