When up dating bios to get to the newest version do i have to get each older update

Thread Starter
I just installed a new Fx-6300 processer on my friends rig with this motherboard: Asus M5A88 - v evo at first I updated the bios to version 0801 and it boots just fine stable for a while. but it will crash randomly so I think this may be a bios issue. I did look for cpu support with bios and it says the newest version is required. so here is the question do I have to go 8 bios flashes or can I just go to the newest one?
Thanks for the help.

You can go straight to the newest one.
