Not sure where to post this topic, that's why it's here. I have a fan controller that uses temp sensors for auto control of the fans. One sensor for each channel and there are six channels. I have two radiators positioned in the bottom of my case with six fans in push/ pull config. I put two fans per channel so that covers three of the channels. The two (push and pull) in the rear end of the case on one channel, the two fans in the middle (push and pull) on another channel, and the two fans (push and pull) towards the front of the case on another channel. I would have put three fans per channel but the limitations are 20W per channel and I didn't want to push it. So I have to place three sensors somewhere. I only use the rig for gaming. I run two GTX680s in SLI and they seem to be the hottest components in the case when gaming. I run my CPU at 4.2GHz and it sometimes gets up close to 65c. I don't know how sensitive these sensors are. Do they have to actually touch the area you are trying to read? I didn't get any type of adhesive tape or anything to install them. Would they just be taped to whatever? Some instructional guidance would be much appreciated.
