Yup, they just released a beta bios that has been fixing all those nasty SATA issues people have been having! Took em a while (afew weeks ). Anyways, for those interested here is a link.

I dont know, I havent heard any more reports of the 680i's killing ram since the ones that were posted in the news section afew weeks ago. And on top of that, I have only seen, at most, 10 people claiming that the 680i killed their ram. If it had been a bios issue I would have expected the problems to be ALOT more widespread. It seems to me that these problems were either caused by 1. User error, or 2. (and what I consider most likely) Faulty Manufacturing, such as a bad voltage regulator on a DIMM slot.
