Watercooling reccomendations

Thread Starter
Iv'e been wanting to water cool for a while now and i'm ready to finally get one. I was wondering what you guys recommend in terms of kits or just separate parts overall. To be more specific I just want to cool my cpu, I have a NZXT phantom 410, and I want to have my watercooling a blue dye that almost looks like shampoo (like pcjunkies if you know who he is), and will a coil get rid of algae or is there a certain dye that is algae proof? Anything else you need to know just tell me thumb.gif

If it's JUST a CPU loop, I'd start with a kit. The Swiftech H220 or the Raystorm Kits would probably be your best route, as for coolant I personally avoid silver, as it can corrode nickle, and if your loop is off it does NOT actively keep algae from growing. The best route for dyes would be Mayhems dye concentrates. You can either go with his X1 coolant concentrates, or if you want an ultra high performance loop go with Mayhems Dye concentrate and their Biocide Extreme.

Like the person above said I think that the xspc raystorm kit would be your be your best bet (this http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_202_972&products_id=34961). It comes with everything you need apart from the coolant but that means you can get the coolant you want. Again like the person above said I would go with Mayhems coolant. If you buy the pre-made coolant it will come with the protection against algae in it but if you buy the dye you will also need to buy the algae killer stuff.
