$500-600 Custom Water Cooling System

Thread Starter
Figured I would start a new thread for this, now that I know what I want. I am looking to make a CPU (i5-4670k) + GPU (GTX770) water cooling system. I'm not comfortable in selecting the components myself and need some help, but I think I can figure out how to install them, etc., with the guides here. Any recommendations? I think I want to go with red colour tubing.

Thanks guys.biggrin.gif

What case is all this going in? Do you want everything internal or are you happy going external? Do you care about silence, Raw performance, or perhaps a combination of both?

Having said that if I where you I'd look into the XSPC Raystorm kits, they have everything you'd need, except for the water, Biocide and a GPU block.

I really like the looks of this kit: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=36040

Will it work for the lga 1150? I think it is designed for 1155

Yeah thats one of the XSPC kits, the pump/res combo on those kits can be a bit so so, however mine when I had one was more than fine, some people, well quite a few I think had problems. Having said that the one in that kit I think should be the new revision so hopefully it will be a bit more reliable.

Also I think there is going to be support for 1150, think it'll require a new backplate. Might be worth contacting performance PCs I'm sure they can tell you more.

I went over by 45$ but you can get a 5.5% discount with "xtreme" code I believe. All quality parts I selected too! You could go a different pump resv. combo to reduce cost but too. I would never recommend anyone buy a kit.
