Is it bad to add more RAM to an existing pair?

Thread Starter
I currently have this in my system:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231190

Would I be likely to experience functionality issues if I bought another 4GB of the same RAM to add along with the two sticks I have?

Nothing wrong with that, you don't even have to match brands or anything.

Long as they are the same spec should be ok. When i got my Samsung 16gb kit they came in 2 x 8gb kits, and no problems

If in doubt ask before ordering, simple thumb.gif
