Time to RMA my Galaxy S2?

My Galaxy S2 has been acting poor for months, if not into a year now. Common problems include:

1. Poor battery, 100% charge at 8am, less than 20% at 5pm same evening with very light use.
2. Apps constant randomly close without me pressing anything.
3. phone freezing.
4. Phone restarting itself.

I have just returned to using my phone after a week of no use and now the date and time has reset itself to jan 1st 2000, and my phone settings appearances such as font sizes seem to have changed themself too.

Im sick of this phone, is it time to RMA it? Can I request a completely different phone from my carrier seen as I hate this one?

Can you upgrade? I'm not sure how carrier contracts work in the UK, and how long it takes before you are eligible for one.

I'd RMA if you cannot upgrade. You can also try removing recently installed apps...maybe one of them is misbehaving.

Before for you give up and go to *cryphone try the following

1.install better battery stats - this will log all phone activity which affects the battery, you may have a rouge app that is causing battery drain.

2 upgrade to the latest OS (sgs2 latest update is JellyBean 4.1.2)

test, if battery life still crap i recommend that you root your phone and install a custom rom like Cm 10.1 or Aokp

i got around 18 hours (4 hours screen time) on my S2 with lite - normal usage. with Cyannogen Mod 10.1 & Dorimanx Kernal

if all of the above is no good them maybe RMA is the only option

phone is rooted already, I dont consider 18 hours good time for a phone battery either. I had an iphone 3gs that lasted for ages.
