Man, that would be terrible if they didn't get enough orders. I figured it would sell out quickly, but I guess you have to factor in the economy, it's getting really bad out there these days.

Got some updates coming soon. My child was born three weeks early and has pretty much killed my free time!

But moving forward (when possible)

I did some custom cuts to my coldzero slight to be able to do the wire management routes that I want. I had to drill a large square hole to run the cables up from the bottom section through the midplate and BEHIND the motherboard. From there the cables will come out from above the motherboard and plug in there. I will do the GPU cables/Aquaero 5 cables/USB headers this way.
The problem I had with the square hole is that it hurt the lighting a lot. It ended up leaving a lot of dark spots. My solution for that was to add another led to the other side. I had to take the reflector plate out and sand some of it down and then polish it but once this was done im actually very happy with the lighting smile.gif.

I also started doing some of the acrylic tubing. Im using c47s and e22 tubing. These things are a pain to bend but once its done it looks very pretty. Im looking to do the rest of my tubing bends this friday and will post some updates.

I also ordered a aquaero 5 lt for this build. Im looking forward to using it. I wont be doing flow management but I will have some temp sensors and all of my fans hooked into it. From there it might grow we shall see smile.gif

I also ordered a new front plate from cold zero.

It will look just like this with the extension to cover the old 3.5 bay opening. Ill post some pictures of the murdermod one along side with this one when it is done to compare and contrast. It should be here by the end of next week.

I also have some time scheduled with the powder coater on the 15th to get the motherboard painted finally. Once that is done ill take some nice pics of it.

Also going to update the OP.

Coldzero finished the frontplate Here are the pics he took for me. He hasnt shipped it yet but once I get it in hand ill post the in hand pictures.

Also some updates for this weekend. Today ill be polishing the motherboard tray so that it can be power coated next week.
Ill also be drilling out my last hole in the slight and mounting a fill port in it. Once this is done i should be able to run the last two tubes and do a little bit of a test leak.
Im also going to use regular tubing and QDC's in a small section of my loop from the pump to the radiator so that I can drain the loop until I come up with a better solution in the future.

Where did you get those radiator mounts? I seem to recall them from the CopperMod, and have seen them all over the place at certain cable sleeving forums (cough, cough).

Updates for today.

Im changing a few things/plans with my build as I get near the end smile.gif

First things.. did some more bending over the weekend. Almost all of my bends are done but one in the bottom department. The 2 x 90 bend from the mid plate to cpu took 4 tries before I got it to what I wanted.

Also got the new frontplate installed here are some pictures of them.

If you notice the bump on the tj07 frame.. I did that years ago when I overtightened a screw frown.gif Any ideas on how to fix it? Theres also a few spots where the paint has scratched and ive considered touching it up or having the case powder coated has anyone done this before?

I also sanded the motherboard down and took everything apart over the weekend. The motherboard tray is currently at the powdercoater and should be done this weekend. Ill post pictures as soon as I get it back smile.gif I got a great deal and hope to have found a new powder coater.

I also made my "final" order I hope lol for the case and parts.

Ill also be drilling a circle hole in my inverted backplate at the top to add a rocker switch to it. This rocker switch will control any LEDS in the case including slight/ssd mount and any others that are added. I will run all of the leds to a molex to fan board and then connect that to the rocker switch.

So now the new drain plan. Ill be putting this together this week once the package arrives from performance pcs. I am borrowing this idea from a previous buildlog because I honestly think its genius. The only concern I have is making such a large hole in the unibody of the case which pretty much cant be repaired but I think its what I want to do.

This is a drawing of the general idea and this is a picture of how it should look when its done. These pictures are not mine and I will post my own once it is made.

There is a cap on the bottom of that fill port so to drain all I would have to do is put the computer over the desk and remove the cap smile.gif
