660 Ti Mem Overclock +800 MHz

Thread Starter
While attempting to overclock my 660 Ti Valley locks up with anything more than about +26 MHz on the CPU even with a much lower mem overclock (although I can get the GPU clock +50 MHz plus with a low or no mem overclock, but get a better score with the high mem overclock), but I've noticed if I leave the GPU clock at +26 MHz (1163 MHz effective) I'm able to get at least +800 MHz (3800 MHz effective; haven't tried further) on the memory. +800 MHz just feels a bit extreme to me, is this a safe clock for my memory? How do I know if I may be damaging/buring out the memory?

Anybody on whether I'll damage my GPU/Mem with the mem as high as this?

Well I definitely wouldn't keep it that high 24/7, I'm thinking a good 24/7 memory OC would be around 500MHz at most, but don't quote me!
