I guess this is case related. I have an Envision en-775e, and a Dell Optiplex 170L desktop computer (like in the picture.) The monitor is just under 40 pounds. I was wondering if I could set the monitor on top of the computer SAFELY, and I cannot stress that enough. It was given to me by my dad and I don't want anything to happen to it.
As long as the panel isnt bending (which it probably wont).... theres nothing wrong with putting your monitor on top of it. The base of the monitor is probably plastic as well, maybe with rubber feet so nothing is going to affect it electrically.
Ive put a 20 inch CRT monitor (way back 10 years ago) over my computer before and no problems
lol it does kinda look like a long xbox 360 elite
