Idk man. I made a thread about the price a few weeks ago. People called me sensationalist, when in reality this is the most ridiculous workstation I've ever seen in my life.

Let's say I'm working with AutoCAD. The case has no importance to me. The display, input devices, and performance does. And heck, whenever I look at the case I usually only do it for cable maintenance and or connecting devices or hitting the power button. And since funding on projects is not unlimited, that couple thousand more for a case could be better spend on something important.

Okay, great, you've established the MacPro is not for you. The MacPro has never been cheap regardless of form factor. It's aimed at prosumers, designers, photographers, those with a need for extra processing power that standard apple desktops don't provide. It's certainly not for me either, but your shortsighted view is kinda silly.

it's basically only for audio/visual professionals, who are paying the premium for the software support
