[Help] Older system, Corsair XMS RAM will read individually but not together. Any Ideas?

Ok so here is the story. I have a pretty old system that My son uses. Just for regular school work, web surfing, and some League of Legends. I had some crucial ram 1.5gb in it and the 1gb stick was failing causing the PC to restart. So I got 2GB kit from ebay new. PC3200 2 sticks of 512 and 1 stick 1gb. The mobo only has 2 slots (yes i know lol). The 1gb will not read with the other 512. Or any 512 for that matter (tried with this some OCZ plat I had lying around). The 1gb works individually and the 512s all work individually in either slot. The 1gb of OCZ I have works fine (2 512 sticks). I just cant figure out why they work fine individually but not together. I mean after all they are MEANT to work together. Something that im missing? Here are the specs and all hardware on the computer.

Windows XP SP3
AMD Athlon 3000+ CPU
MS-7032 (K8T Neo-V) Motherboard
Geforece 7800 GS OC VGA
120GB seagate HDD
Ultra V-Series 500-Watt ATX PSU
No CD drive

Any Ideas. Thanks Ive been a lurker here for a while and done a trade for this very VGA on here a while back. Could not figure it out so was wondering if anyone might know what could be up.
Thanks.

Edit: Also I just tried the OCZ with the corsair. It will still read the Corsair but not the OCZ when its together. Although when i put the OCZ in the first slot it will read the OCZ and not the corsair. But the 2 sticks of 512 corsair will work together interchangeable with both brands. Max RAM for this MOBO is 2gb.

Did you get PC-3200 or PC2-3200 RAM? I don't think the motherboard does not support the former.

Your motherboard doesn't support PC3200. It requires PC2-3200. In other words, are you sure that the RAM is in fact DDR2?

the corsair ram is 3200 CL2 1 512 an one 1GB. It is not DDR2 its just DDR. The crucial scanner. Is infact showing that PC 3200 is compatible in my mother board. And there are 2 sticks in it that are working as we speak. So the Mobo is in fact 3200 compatible. Thus why im stumped.
