Windows 8 Pro / Haswell?

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I'm just about to do a new Haswell build with an ASUS Maximus VI Hero, etc -- Should I be upgrading from Windows 7 to 8? I personally don't like the look of 8 but is there upsides? Will my gear run better? Or will it be fine on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit? Any pro's and con's to it all?

Thanks in advance!

JB

I went Haswell with Windows 8 from Bloomfield and Windows 7. I bought Start8 and have been really happy with the new OS. A lot quicker on boot ups/wake ups. Personally, I felt like Win7 was starting to feel a bit dated.
