New Diamond 7970

Thread Starter
Newegg is now carrying a new custom 7970 from Diamond, the "dual fan" edition.

Here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814103235

Stock clocks, and the PCB is not a true reference PCB. First non-referenced 7970 from Diamond (possibly first ever non-reference GPU from Diamond? ) I doubt anyone has it yet, but if any of you do already own one, what is your experience with it? Does it live up to the quality of Diamond's reference 7970?

Pretty expensive for this late into the game

I've owned the VTX3D HD7950 w/ 7970 PCB, and it had coil whine. IT was very bad, RMA'd it though and got a refund.
