Out of all the wireless gaming headsets out there, which one would you prefer?

The G930 from Logitech is a couple of years old, but seems to still be at the top when it comes to wireless..

Any suggestions?

I picked it up a couple months ago and currently using it. So far it works fine. Batteries last around 5-7hrs for me when I game.

One thing to note is that there is actually no "wired" mode because when it is plugged in, you will still need the adapter for it to work. Basically, wired mode only charges it while you use it.

Many would argue that if you want quality, get a standalone mic and better headphones but if you are like me and just need something that works this is perfect. I think it's nice to be able to get up and walk around the house while still being able to stream Spotify from it. Music controls are a cool feature too.

G930 user here, it's absolutely a great headset. I bought it on sale for $80 IIRC, definitely worth it. No more mess of dealing with headphone cables and fraying of wires near the cable jack. I may lose reception once or twice a day when I'm using them, I still need to figure out the source of the interference.

Daveezy summed it up pretty well. It does the job, and has pretty good range so you can listen to music away from your computer while still getting decent audio.

I will say though that the bass can get farty if you crank it up too high. If you're looking for good deep bass for gangster rap, don't get this headset. The simulated surround sound is awesome though, makes gaming sound a lot more dynamic.
