Did i make a bad decision?

I just finished speaking to dell about a return for my U2711 which has developed dark patches at the top of the screen. I was able to choose from the following as a replacement (all refurbs):
U2913wm
U2713hm
U2713h

I went with the u2913wm. Am i going to be disapointed? i am very bad at making up my mind so i am now second guessing myself frown.gif
I mostly play fps games and watch tv shows + movies on my main monitor which this will be replacing. I also have my gd245hq that i use when playing anything that requires low input lag and 120hz.
My U2711 is also like a radiator, becoming almost too hot to touch, will these 3 options be better considering they are LED?

Well it's good for movies and pretty much everything else, much more space in your desktop and wider fov, its IPS so great colors.

I'd say it's great choice thumb.gif
But so are the others biggrin.gif

A 21:9 ratio screen should be interesting and will give you a bit wider field of view - The LED should produce less heat, though your U2711 shouldn't have been too hot to the touch anyway. I think you'll be happy with your decision once you get used to the new ratio thumb.gif

Thank you very much smile.gif your replies have reassured me. Is there anything i should expect with it being refurbished? it will be the first thing i have ever bought that is not brand new.

I'd say maybe few scratches max, because it's returned for some reason and then tested by the manufacturer for defects and such, so no, it's not going to arrive in tiny little pieces biggrin.gif

scratches on the screen or the bezel? i cant imagine they would send one with a scratched screen

Yeah, i don't think they would send you a monitor with scratch on the screen, besides, refurbished things are usually exactly like new ones.
