You're right, although it depends how your body reacts to it. I can do 6 weeks where as my buddy gets constant headaches after 4... Ketosis basically sucks cause you feel like crap and have low testosterone the entire time, breath smells, sweat smells like ammonia, but OP made it sound like he needs to lose 40 lbs fast so that's why I suggested it. It's the quickest way and you don't really lose much muscle mass in the process
But when I did it for 6 weeks I carb load on weekends so I was sort of in between Ketosis and carb cycling. Prob got down to 9% BF, never again thoughEdited by Scorpion667 - 6/28/13 at 1:37pm
