Revised PC Build

Thread Starter
I posted an earlier "prototype" and I have revised my build. I just need someone to look over it and make sure there are no compatibility issues. I know I didn't include an Optical Drive since I already have an extra one. Just so you know this is my first build and I intend to use this for some Gaming but nothing too hard core and I don't need to have amazing graphics and FPS. Thanks.

The first thing I want to do is ask why you're going with the P8Z77-V LX and a CPU cooler because your CPU is not overclockable. Well, you can overclock it, but only a little bit and it's barely worth it. You could spend less money by staying with the stock cooling and getting a good H77 motherboard.

The next (and only other) thing I want to comment on is the PSU. Corsair's CX Series PSUs aren't worth purchasing. They're not very good and they're always way overpriced.

For example: the CX600 is $57.99 shipped at Amazon.com, yet here are a few that are about the same price, they have all the power your rig will ever need, and they crush the CX600:

This PSUs are quite overkill because your system with one GTX 650 Ti and the i3-3220 n it would never pull more than 200-250W from your PSU. So really, I could recommend the 360W SeaSonic G Series, but it's about $60. It's not that it's worth $60, but it's just overpriced because sub-400W PSUs are very low in demand.

You could probably use a B75 motherboard instead and used the saved money to bump the processor to an i5?

I recommend the NZXT Tempest 210, the shipping is rape but since you like Amazon you can get it from there for $47.06 Free Shipping (5-8 days for non-Prime members, 2 days free shipping if you are a member)

Thanks for the suggestion, but as I'm constantly updating my list, I've switched to the Cooler Master Storm Scout.
