Questions and concerns about 3770k gaming rig

Hey everyone,

I have had my computer for about 6 months now, I splurged for Christmas and built a pretty awesome system.

corsair 500r case
ECS z77H2-AX mobo, it looks great with its golden heatsinks and i/o plate
3770k cpu, currently running stock
Tuniq 120 extreme heat sink
xfire sapphire 7950, running at stock as well
xonar dx 7.1 sound card
a pair of Audioengine A5+ computer speakers
3x 2001fp dell monitors

Most everything about it works wonderfully, but I do have some things that don't quite work how i want them to and am looking for advice.

First off are my temps. They seem to be excessively high even for ivy bridge, but still at safe levels.

Idle temp on a 90f day is 40-45c. Load temps get to 80-85c.
I have my wires tied up nicely and the lower hard drive bay removed, so airflow in the case is great and should not be a limiting factor
I have 2 intake fans, a 200mm side intake, 2 top exhaust and one rear exhaust fans, all Cooler Master blade master 120mm fans.
These fans are dead silent at 40% *(i just solved an issue of ticking noise that i thought was caused by the nzxt fan controller i have, as i read many reviews that it causes such ticking noise, by unplugging one of the exhaust fans and have to RMA it)*

My GPU temps also are a little strange. When litecoin mining, one of them gets about 10c higher than the other, 80 vs 90c. Idles at 50c for both.
OCCT stress test only pushes it to 70c on one, and 80c on the lower GPU.
I wonder if this is caused by the lack of airflow to the lower GPU due to the xonar dx sound card directly below it.
I attempted to use pci extender cables to relocate the sound card one slot lower but they were not flexible to allow it to move just one slot down.

Another issue i have with the graphics is a small crease in the screen that can be seen when watching videos or moving a browser page around, this is only affected on the far right monitor, the one using the active minidisplay to dvi adapter. I played AC2 all the way through without it showing up, but during desktop browsing or watching a video in firefox/chrome it is a very noticeable line. The line also shifts throughout the day from being in the middle of the screen to a lower or upper part of the screen.

I just purchased some new thermal paste and plan on re applying it this weekend to see if maybe i just seated the heatsink poorly to the cpu.

Do people think its worth shipping the single bad fan back or just using one of the originals that came with the case?

Once I figure out the heat issues I will look into overclocking the CPU/GPU, though really only for the experience of doing it, because i doubt i will see any noticeable difference.

Does anyone have any insight into the problems I am having?

Are you able to add any additional exhaust fans?
