HAF X with Phobya Xtreme Nova 1080 Radiator

Thread Starter
So saw this on my local webpage and was wondering if anyone else or if it is worth putting this rad behind the mobo?

Not part of case modding but, later (just before summer hits) will be buying XSPC RX360 water kit and have the two rads work together along with water block for my card, NB chipset and voltage control.

~

MOBO: GA 970A D3 REV 1.3
PU: AMD 8120 AT 4 GHZ
RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE 16GB AT 1600MHZ
TOWER: HAF X
HDD: 1TB WD GREEN
GCARD: GEFORCE GTX 670
PSU: SILVERSTONE STRIDER PLUS 850 WATT SILVER RATING
PCI: WIFI ADAPTER TL-WN881ND
OPTICAL: LITEON ALL IN ONE DVD/CD/BLURAY BURNER/PLAYER
USB: AIVIA OSMIUM KEYBOARD, AIVIA M8600
LIGHTING: BITSPOWER DUAL 30cm COLD CATHODE KIT UV

That's where the 360 will go. Clearance, I have nothing to worry about.

Just some measuring. The PSU is 90mm (H) so the rad will have to be just above that but makes close contact with the top.

Those holes behind the optical drive and above the PSU will be useless as the rad would be mounted on the panel.

Other than that will need to put holes close to where the mobo is mounted for ventilation. This might just be a push/pull rad. Cables will be tied up so the fans don't chop them up.

*forgot to add HAF X in title.

I own this radiator and I have had it for about 1 year now and I love it!
