For the past 24 hours since i have set up my new computer, i have just been testing out Overclocking and im enjoying my self, being doing a lot of reading and watched a few videos on the matter, anyways here is my specs:

CPU: FX-8350 4.0ghz Overclocked to 4.5ghz
Motherboard: M5A99X EVO R2.0
GPU: VTX3D 7870 LE Black Edition
RAM: 16GB 4x4 Kingston DDR3 Dual Channel 1600mhz
Cooling: Asetek 510LC Liquid Cooling system w/ 120mm Radiator ad 6 120mm fans
OS: Windows 8

So ive got it set up at 4.5ghz, ive tested it with:
Cinebench: CPU 7.73 OpenGL 77.23
3DMark11 Basic Edition: 7609
Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0 Score: 1341

Here are all my bios settings and few other screenshots: http://s129.photobucket.com/user/PipsonFM/slideshow/Overclock%204500

So for the experts:
Im running 4.5ghz at 1.4V because at the default 1.38 it simply failed CPU stress test.
This is my first overclock and bios settings are based on what i read, is there anything i could change to make it better? click on link for bios settings.

Now the real deal, advice on going towards 4.8ghz and keeping temps low??

You'll need close to 1.5v to get to 4.8. I'm running 4.82 GHz right now on all 8 cores with 1.46v, keeping everything else as close to normal spec as possible. A combination of increasing the multiplier and a slight bump in the bus speed gets the best results for me. I can't make 5 GHz with any combination of settings that I'm comfortable with, but 4.8 isn't a problem if you turn off C1e, C6, and Turbo in the BIOS and keep stuff like HT speed and memory in check.

I checked the voltage while I was doing this, and it's bad when the CPU is under load. It was pulling 474W at the PSU at one point while IBT was running, and considering what else is in this machine, the 8350 must have been pulling 350 of that. I don't know how AMD can sell a 4.7/5.0 turbo version of the 8350 and legitimately keep TDP at 220W.

As best I can tell, those settings are all where they should be. Some of them aren't familiar to me because I don't use an ASUS board, but I didn't see anything that looked wrong for overclocking.

As far as RAM goes, it should stay in spec as long as you're just doing straight multiplier overclocking. If you choose to, or need to change the CPU bus to a value over 200, then your RAM will start to be overclocked as well. Then you might have to adjust the pre-set memory frequency down to DDR3-1333 or lower to keep the RAM in spec, or alternatively, slow down the timings to make it run at the higher speed. A lot depends on how good your RAM is. The stuff I use is rated 1333 at stock, but I know from past experience that it will run well above DDR3-1600 speeds at stock voltage if I want it to. It's running at 1500 right now, and the CPU's at 4837 MHz--21.5*225, at 1.456v.

I changed alot in cpu config, digi power and etc... i just wanna know if i changed too many things, i disabled or enable somethign i shouldnt have and etc...
